About Your Service Provider

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe every child has unique strengths, and learning is most effective when it is natural, engaging, and meaningful. My approach focuses on igniting my learners' passion for learning and desire to improve, and guide them towards independence and reaching their full potential:

  • Strength-Based Learning: I build on each child’s existing strengths to promote growth in other areas, while helping them discover what makes them truly special.

  • Learning in Natural Environments: Skills are taught through everyday activities, making learning practical, relevant, and easier to generalize beyond structured lessons.

  • Social-Emotional Development: I prioritize developing emotional regulation, social skills, self-advocacy, and other essential life skills that improve their day-to-day interactions with others.

  • Quality of Life Focus: Every recommendation and strategy is guided by the child’s best interests, ensuring that interventions genuinely benefit them.

  • Multidisciplinary-Collaborative Approach: I work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that recommended strategies complement and build on those already in place, and align with the values of the school team and parents.

  • Comprehensive, Tailored Lesson Plans: Every child receives a personalized learning plan designed for all-round development, combining individualized goals with practical, engaging strategies.
